Wafaa Helmi Ayesh, Consultant Clinical Dietitian & Head of Nutrition at Al Tadawi General Hospital, is a leader in clinical nutrition. As President of the Middle Eastern Alliance of Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition Congress, she contributes significantly to the field. Wafaa directs the Master's Degree in Applied Nutrition Program at the University of Sharjah and has a history of service at Dubai Health Authority. With a Master's in Food Science and Nutrition, she initiated projects like DHA@Home and Tummy Fish. Wafaa, the first Arab recipient of an ESPEN diploma, actively contributes to education, co-founding Sweetkidz Group and receiving awards such as the "Sheikh Hamdan Award" and "Excellence in Healthcare.

Dr. Eiman Al Hinai, is the Head of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department in the Directorate General of Khoula hospital with a Ph.D. degree in clinical nutrition and dietetics from Reading University, England –UK. Member in the Evaluation Committee in Consumer Protection Authority. She is the President of Omani nutrition and dietetics Society. She is a member in Oman association for consumer protection & a member in the team of Consumer Protection Authority. Dr. Eiman has been a keynote speaker at conferences nationally and internationally, lecturing in Oman college of Health sciences and cooperation across the country and outside the country. Furthermore, Dr. Eiman conducted international conferences, workshops, symposiums, and campaign yearly. Moreover, Dr. Eiman is publishing several scientific papers in high-ranked journals. Dr. Eiman has been providing nutritional counselling for almost 22 years and helped thousands of people to manage their diet with their specific diseases and to lose weight. Dr. Eiman helped all her patients to improve their quality of life, through the variety of programs that she has created.

Dr Ali Almehaidib is a consultant pediatric gastroenterologist, Department of Pediatrics, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his residency at KFSHRC and his fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology and clinical nutrition at Montreal Children’s Hospital, McGill University, Montreal, Canada in 1994. Dr Almehaidib is currently the Head Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Department of Pediatrics, KFSHRC. The Chairman of Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Examination Committee, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Dr Almehaidib is the founder of Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship program in Saudi Arabia and has trained 43 fellows serving now as consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologists in different provinces of Saudi Arabia as well as Arabian Gulf countries. In 2006, he established the Riyadh pediatric Gastroenterology club monthly meeting. Dr Almehaidib is one of the founders of the Saudi Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and he serves as an elected Board member since it was established. He was the ex-chairman of the Scientific committee and the communication and marketing committee and currently he is the chairman of the Continuous Development Committee at SASPGHAN. Dr Almehaidib has 45 publications in peer revied journals and >200 presentations at national, regional and international conferences.

I hold a position as an Assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy and Medicine, King Saud Bin Abdul-Aziz, for Health Science University in Riyadh. A master's degree and a High Diploma in Health Systems and quality management from Liverpool University in collaboration with King Saud University for Health Science. I won the First place award for my research by leading my team in Neonatal ICU from Saudi National Patient Safety Award in 2018 for his innovative project, which decreased Neonates fractures from twenty cases per year to Zero. I was one of the leaders in the innovation of new programs such as (Discharge Counseling, Neonatal Bone Health, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Strategic planning in education … etc.). Honored to be a part-time advisor for the health sector transformation offices under his royal highness crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman vision 2030.

Fatima Al-Haddad is a Clinical Dietitian from the Kingdom of Bahrain. She has been working as a Clinical Dietitian in the Salmaniya Medical Complex for the past 17 years. Fatima obtained her BSc. in Nutrition with a Major in Dietetics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, after which she went on to earn a Fulbright Scholarship and obtained a MSc. in Public Health Nutrition with a Minor in Public Health from the University of Knoxville-Tennessee in the United States. She has a passion for infant and child nutrition and her focus on diabetes was the drive behind her PhD thesis from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Her area of research focuses on child health with an emphasis on evidence-based strategies for improving health outcomes in these populations.

Dr. Hadia Radwan has earned her BSc. and MSc. from the American University of Beirut in Nutrition and Dietetics and her Ph.D. from Teesside University –UK. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at the College of Health Sciences, the University of Sharjah since September 2013. She had worked previously in several hospitals as a dietitian and nutrition training specialist and organized many nutrition and dietetic training programs and workshops for the dietitians. She had many publications in the area of nutrition and dietetics. Her areas of research include Maternal and child nutrition. She is the PI for several research projects grants: Al Jalila Foundation Grant: Mother and Infant Cohort Research (MISC), as well as another grant from Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences: Examining Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy, Infant Feeding Method, and Postnatal Mental Health among Women in the United Arab Emirates: A Cohort Study.

Mr. Ismail M. Halahleh has received his MSc. Degree from the University of Jordan in 1992 in the field of nutrition science. He was graduated in 1988 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, faculty of medicine, in the field of Public Health with specialization in nutrition. Mr. Halahleh started his work as a clinical dietitian Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem. He was then promoted to Head of Nutrition and Dietetics Department and acted as clinical nutrition instructor and clinical trainer for nutrition specialization students from different Palestinian Universities. Currently, he is a nutrition instructor at Palestine polytechnic University and Head of Medical Professions Department, the Faculty of Medicine and Health professions. During the last years Mr. Halahleh acted as a Nutrition consultant for WHO and Flagship projects in Palestine that responsible for Palestinian Health Sector Reform and Development. Mr. Halahleh participating in formulation the Nutrition profession National Law responsible for Dietitians Licensure in Palestine. Then he was elected as the president of Palestinian Dietitians Syndicate.

A proud graduate of Oman Assistant Pharmacy Institute (Diploma), University of Strathclyde (MPharm and MSc in clinical Pharmacy) and University of Reading (PhD in pharmacy). Worked in the pharmacy and medical stores of AL Rahma hospital then moved to Al Nahdha hospital pharmacy department after completing MPharm degree. At Al Nahdha hospital, she worked in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy. Following her MSc degree, she worked in clinical pharmacy department. During that period, she had experience in the following words: Surgical, pediatric and internal medicine wards. In addition, she was a member of hospital HIV team and the secretary of hospital drug and therapeutic committee. She participated as a speaker in national and international conferences. After that, she got a PhD scholarship at University of Reading. She got the Outstanding academic performance award for the academic year 2017/18 from Oman cultural attaché' of London (03/2019) and best poster in scientific poster competition in Omani open day for two consecutive years. She published tow research papers and currently she is a lecturer of Medicinal Chemistry at Oman College of Health Sciences.

Ms. Reem Al-Saadi is a Clinical Lead for Metabolic Dietetics and Director of Dietetics & Nutrition Department at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha-Qatar. She is also an Honorary Faculty Staff in Dietetics Department at Qatar University. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from Qatar University. Then, she did her postgraduate training in the dietary management of inherited metabolic disorders (IMD) at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto–Canada. She has a wealth of experience in pediatric and adult dietetics, having worked as a clinical dietetic specialist for almost 20 years. Her involvement in all aspects of IMD has spanned almost all her working life. As director of the Department, she helps oversee the inpatient/outpatient management of all IEM patients, diet and formula instruction, computer diet analysis, and the medical foods distribution center. Ms. Al-Saadi is one of the most trusted dietitians to Classical Homocystinuria (HCU) patients in Qatar and the Region. Her main research interests include maximizing the benefits of the early diagnosis through newborn screening (NBS) and pre-symptomatic treatment with diets to improve health outcomes and prognosis in children with IMD. In addition, Ms. Al-Saadi has contributed to many publications surrounding nutrition management and HCU. Ms. Al-Saadi participates in several projects that help with the development of translational clinical research. She is the Co-founder of MEMU (Middle East Metabolic University), which provide an academic training as well as practical aspects of dietetic management of IMD. She has also participated as a speaker in many national, regional and international IMD conferences. Her outstanding dedication and hard work in improving newborn screening and more specifically the HCU community.

Her dedication to elevating dietetics services across Oman is evident in her diverse clinical and research contributions. A pioneer in her field, Salma launched the inaugural Malnutrition Awareness Week at Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care & Research Centre (SQCCCRC), aiming to shed light on cancer-related malnutrition. Her leadership acumen is further showcased through her involvement in leading Sultan Qaboos University Hospital's participation in the World-Wide Nutrition Day research Project by ESPEN and organizing specialized workshops on nutrition. Salma's accolades include nomination by the National Liaison Officer for technical cooperation project (RAS6094;ARASIA) with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She has also worked as a Research Assistance for the (OmanHeart) study at Medical Research Center, Sultan Qaboos University. Her scientific contributions have been recognized and awarded by the International Confederation of Dietetics Associations, the University of Worcester, and Sultan Qaboos University.

Dr. Suzan Haidar’s academic journey started in Canada at the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with double degrees in both Biology (medical sciences) and Nutrition and Dietetics. She later pursued a master’s degree in human nutrition from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and then a PhD in Health Promotion from Maastricht University, Netherlands. Dr. Haidar is a licensed dietitian who has gained extensive clinical experience from working in several hospitals in Lebanon. Her research interests focus mainly on lifestyle habits as related to cardiometabolic risk. Dr. Haidar has also worked on several projects for regional food shows and made numerous television and radio appearances. She is currently an assistant professor and internship coordinator at the Lebanese International University. Dr. Haidar is a member of the Lebanese Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (LAND) and the European Society for Enteral and Parenteral nutrition where is a certified LLL instructor.

Dr. Tariq AlMusawi is an American trained and American Board- certified consultant physician in internal medicine, infectious disease and critical care medicine, Chief of ICU department and the Chief Medical Officer at Al Salam Hospital, Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. AlMusawi is an Associate Professor in Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He had been a speaker in many local, regional and international conferences in his areas of interest which are multi-drug resistant Gram negative bacteria, fungal infections and antimicrobial stewardship in intensive care units, as well as an instructor to many critical care courses. He had received several awards and published widely in the field of infectious disease and critical care medicine.
