Dr. Wafaa Ayesh

Mrs. Wafaa Helmi Ayesh is the Previous Director of Clinical Nutrition Department for Dubai Health Authority-Dubai. She graduated from the medical Allied Sciences Yarmouk University, Jordan, before gaining an M.Sc in Food Science and Nutrition from Clayton University in the USA. Her other qualifications include Diploma in Nutrition from the American Association of Continuing Medical Education, the European ESPEN Diploma in Nutrition & Metabolism and Diploma in Therapeutic Nutrition. She has also set the Accredited Curriculum in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and is Adjunct and Advisory Board Member as well as part-time lecturer for College of Health Science in University of Sharjah.

Dr. Eiman Abdulla Al Hinai

Head of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department | Oman

Dr. Eiman Al Hinai, is the Head of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department in the Directorate General of Khoula hospital with a Ph.D. degree in clinical nutrition and dietetics from Reading University, England –UK. Member in the Evaluation Committee in Consumer Protection Authority. She is the President of Omani nutrition and dietetics Society. She is a member in Oman association for consumer protection & a member in the team of Consumer Protection Authority. Dr. Eiman has been a keynote speaker at conferences nationally and internationally, lecturing in Oman college of Health sciences and cooperation across the country and outside the country. Furthermore, Dr. Eiman conducted international conferences, workshops, symposiums, and campaign yearly. Moreover, Dr. Eiman is publishing several scientific papers in high-ranked journals. Dr. Eiman has been providing nutritional counselling for almost 22 years and helped thousands of people to manage their diet with their specific diseases and to lose weight. Dr. Eiman helped all her patients to improve their quality of life, through the variety of programs that she has created.

Dr. Abdullah Al Bulsohi

Dr. Nahla Al Anqodi

Senior Clinical Dietitian | Oman

Nahla Al-Anqodi is senior clinical dietitian with over 20 years of working experiences in a governmental hospital. She received her Bachelors of Science (Hons) in Dietetics from Queen Margret University College and completed her Dietetic internship at Bristol Royal Infirmary in 2001. She also has a Master’s in Business Administration from Bedfordshire University affiliated by Majan College Oman in 2009. In 2017 she earned MSc in advanced dietetic practice with distinction from the University of Nottingham. Nahla have been providing nutritional counselling and treatment in several nutrition related diseases and worked with both adults and pediatrics. Nahla in interested in weight management and have participated in several conferences and workshops nationally and internationally. Has several publications in reputable journals. She is a member of the Nutrition Society (UK).

Dr. Sana Al Yafey

Senior Clinical Dietitian, Head of Clinical Dietetics Department | Oman

Sana is a Senior Clinical Dietitian from the Sultanate of Oman holding a M.Sc. & B.Sc. Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Sultan Qaboos University. Sana also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University. Sana Recently completed her diploma in lean management and 6sigma for health care Sector. She is the first specialized clinical dietitian from Oman in Medical ketogenic diet services for Pediatric Epilepsy and completed her training in this field at the John Hopkins Hospital –Maryland USA. Sana has been practicing Dietetics since 2010 and has experience of both private and public/Government services. Currently she is the Head of Clinical Dietetics Department at the Royal Hospital which is considered one of the major treating/educational Hospitals in the Sultanate of Oman and currently working with the Nutrition Department at Ministry of Health in Developing National Guidelines like Nutrition for burns, ICU and Malnutrition management. Sana is an admin and member of Oman Nutrition & Dietetic Society, a member in Oman Diabetic Association, also a member for Health & wellness Committee & a member of the Enteral Parenteral committee at Royal Hospital Her current interests are leadership in Dietetics, Women leadership, empowering Young dietitians to effectively initiate, evaluate and enhance quality projects in the field of Clinical Nutrition.

Dr. Shabib Al Kalbani

Dt. Shabib is the Head of Hospital Dietetics and Catering, Department of Supportive Services at Directorate General of Specialized Medical Care (MOH, Oman). He has been working in this position since 2015 until this date. Previously he did clinical practice for eight years, specializing in dialysis, chronic disease and pediatric health, in an outpatient facility. His current role involves supervising hospital dietetics and catering services, provision and monitoring practice of related clinical guidelines, and providing guidance, logistics and support to these settings in secondary and tertiary care

Dt Thuraiya Al Siyabi is a Dietitian at Neem Hospital. She has a Bachelor of food science and human Nutrition and was trained at the hands of senior clinical nutrition specialists and senior Omani surgeons. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Omani Association for Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition; and Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee of the Omani Association for Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition.
